My email to Sears.com:
Your pick up in store system is horrible. I went on sears.com and found what I wanted. It was not available for shipping but could be picked up in store. All over the receipt it said Sears Sears Sears Sears Sears. Turns out the item was at kmart. SUPPOSED to be at KMart anyway.
The email says I just needed to bring the card I paid with. I had that and ID. I went to my closest KMart the next day. the first question was “where is the printout?”. I said the confirmation only said to bring my card, not to print it. They had nothing for me. They called the next nearest KMart and they also have nothing for me.
My order confirmation email says:
Your sears.com order #xxxxxxxxxxxx is ready for pickup at Sears 635 Dutchess Turnpik.
So fine. That is MUCH farther away. I wouldn’t have made the buy if I’d know it was there.
Waaaaay down at the bottom it says KMART STORES 635 Dutchess Turnpik Store #:3396
I don’t know that area. which is it? Is it at Sears or at KMart? It’s the one the first KMart called and they said thay have no orders waiting. No one believes I even received the email, because I didn’t print it.
I called and they have nothing for me. But they DID tell me to print out my confirmation and bring it. That store is 30 mins one way from work. I am going to be an hour away from home just for a $12 pair of pants. That I paid for but they don’t even have for me.
So now I’m trying to print the email for them. Guess what? Your email has no print ability. The page is too large so it has a scroll bar. Every way of printing only gets the visible portion. I logged into my account and none of the barcodes and numbers in the email are in my order info online.
This is an epic fail. I will never, never use your store pickup again
